Swedish Body Massage (also know as the full body massage)
The most widely known and commonly used massage in the UK is called the Swedish massage. The techniques vary from light to vigorous and are composed of 5 different types of strokes. It has been shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, improve posture
It is relaxing, unwinding, soothing, stress relieving. It improves skin texture, blood and lymph circulation, helps stimulate the nervous system, improves posture.
Clinical studies report that Swedish Massage can effectively reduce low back pain and the effectiveness can last for as long as 15 weeks. One study reported that Swedish Massage caused reduction in salivary cortisol indicating its role in management of stress and improvement in mood.
Timing: Timing 60 minutes (option to add on 15 minutes face massage)
